Hi Michelle, thank you so much for all you do. This message has cut sharply through my heart…aptly put and simply explained, I have today, made a deliberate decision to stop pleasing people at my expense. It has ruined my life…the fear of them. God help me.

This is spot on! “ He showed me how little I actually trusted God to do what He said He would do. I thought I had a great deal of faith but my faith was mixed with doubt and unbelief. So… out with the doubt!” Quoting you!

THANK YOU AND MAY OUR GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU. Through your ministry I have been blessed.

“Is there any hope for me? Will things ever get better?”

These were questions I asked repeatedly over the past several years. Fatigue, physical disease, financial stressors, and many spiritual battles dominated my life. As a Christian counselor, I thought I was supposed to be full of hope and encouragement. But each day I just tried to make it through so I could crawl into bed and collapse. I was headed to a deep, dark pit and knew I was desperate for hope. I spent a lot of time praying and studying His Word daily, yet things in my life seemed to get worse.

I knew in my head that God was good and loving, but it seemed my heart and body had taken a beating over the past few years. Doubt and unbelief gained a foothold. Since it truly felt there was no light at the end of my tunnel, I struggled with hopelessness and loss of faith. Where was God?

Desperate and determined to find hope, I started my journey. Fueled by His promises, I walked by faith. My journey went over hills and through valleys. With time and perseverance, hope began to surface. I could see it. I found hope. Hope was waiting to be found.

Without a doubt, I know He is faithful and there is hope for you and me.

Background

My passion is seeing people set free from fear, anxiety, unforgiveness, self-hatred, rejection, addictions and any other stronghold in their lives.

I love working with people in impossible or incurable situations. We are overcomers, not victims. Jesus made it possible for us to ‘…recover ourselves out of the snare of the devil…” (2 Timothy 2:26).

I believe that Jesus Christ still heals today just as He did in the Gospels. I have experienced healing from steroid-induced osteoporosis and Lupus.  I still struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. (I have much more info about my journey here). I have spent many years studying the spiritual roots of disease and received much emotional and spiritual healing through that process. I believe in complete healing while we are alive and here on Earth. I believe God is good and has good things for us (James 1:17, Psalm 34:8).

My background is varied. I graduated from Texas A&M in 1992. Gig’em Aggies! I was a Diplomate of Chinese Medicine and a Licensed Acupuncturist. I had a thriving acupuncture practice in North Dallas and specialized in Pain Management and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation. I have an M.S. in Motor Control which is a field of study combining psychology, neurology, and kinesiology.  I became interested in the emotional and psychological aspect of chronic pain after experiencing it myself and seeing many of my patients contend with this evil. I obtained a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling to better help those suffering from incurable and impossible situations along with demonic strongholds and generational curses.

Today I counsel and teach biblical principles for overcoming. I believe that finding the root of any problem is the first step. Change the root and you change the fruit.
